Description:
Commercial CDL Drivers operate heavy-duty vehicles transporting vehicles and goods across regional routes. They are responsible for the safe and timely delivery of shipments while adhering to all federal and state transportation regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate commercial vehicles such as Boydstun strap trucks across designated routes.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
Ensure timely pickups and deliveries, meeting customer deadlines.
Maintain accurate logs and paperwork in compliance with DOT regulations.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers about delivery status and any issues.
Adhere to all safety and company policies at all times.
Requirements:
Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
Clean driving record and ability to pass background and drug screenings.
Knowledge of federal and state transportation laws.
Experience driving heavy-duty trucks preferred.
Ability to perform physical tasks related to vehicle loading and unloading.
